This 10-day journey brings to reality Sri Lanka’s intriguing heritage, stunning landscapes, and diverse fauna. Tourists
begin with unwinding on Negombo beaches before exploring the cultural wonders of Sigiriya, such as the UNESCO World
Heritage-listed rock fortress. Elephant safaris at Minneriya or Kaudulla take the visitors closer to Sri Lanka’s abundant
wildlife before tourists proceed to usual villages for authentic local experiences like bullock cart rides and canoe rides.
The journey takes place through spice gardens to spiritual destinations of Kandy, like the Temple of the Tooth and
breathtaking botanical gardens. A journey in scenic tea country on a train or scenic drive takes one to Nuwara Eliya,
where tourists visit tea estates and quaint lakes. The tour extends to hill country to Ella waterfalls and sights, and
continues to thrilling jeep safaris in Yala National Park renowned for elephant and leopard inhabitants. The trip
concludes with relaxation days on the south coast at Mirissa or Unawatuna, before city tour and departure from
Colombo. This trip does a fine balance of nature, culture, and relaxation to provide an unforgettable Sri Lankan

Day 2: Negombo – Sigiriya
